Midwest Scuba Center has been serving Indianapolis area since 1976.  With 40 years of dive experience, we are proud to be Indy’s oldest PADI 5 star Dive Center.  We excel in providing scuba divers a full range of diver education programs, the finest lines of scuba equipment, and experience scuba diving trips that actively promote aquatic environmental awareness.

PADI Open Water Diver Program – 1^st Step To Becoming A Diver

Topics such as Diving Equipment, Planning Dives, Boat Diving Procedures, Breathing Underwater, Underwater Communications, and Diving Environments are included in class session.  During swimming pool training, you will get to practice using the scuba equipment, adjusting your buoyancy, and using your mask, fins and snorkel.

Once you have completed your academic certification, pool sessions, and open water dives, you can attend one of our dive vacation destinations!

How do I enroll?

• Call or Stop by Midwest Scuba and sign up today!  We recommend you stop by the store to register, so we may complete all required paperwork and discuss your diving equipment needs.

• For those with time restraints, our PADI eLearning Course may be just what you are looking for!  Complete your academic sessions in the comfort of your home or office.

• If you’re still not sure about signing up, we offer the opportunity to try Scuba diving in a swimming pool with one of our PADI Instructors.  At Midwest Scuba Center, we offer this scuba discovery experience (one-on-one) for ONLY $50.  We will credit your $50 towards your course fee.  If you are uncertain, give it a try – you may be surprised at just how easy and how much fun SCUBA DIVING really is!
